Our 100% pure Organic Patchouli Essential Oil is certified organic by the Soil Association and is vegan friendly and not tested on animals. Sourced from a project where widows of the war and genocide in Rwanda during the 90’s, are given tools and training to cultivate and distil essential oils. This provides a vital lifeline to the families, helping to rebuild their lives to support their families.

Patchouli Essential Oil has a woody, musky and sweet odour which can create a balanced and calming vibe.

Organic Patchouli Oil is often used in massage oil blends for its harmonising and grounding abilities.

Organic Patchouli Oil is said to be useful for its balancing properties when used in skincare.

How to use Organic Patchouli Oil:

  • Dilute at a percentage of 1% of the finished blend (approx.20 drops or 1ml of essential oil to 100ml of carrier oil). In the bath you can use up to 3% dilution. Do not use undiluted on the skin.
  • For aromatherapy add a few drops to your diffuser or oil burner and enjoy the calming aroma of Organic Patchouli Oil.
  • Make your own massage oil blend by adding Patchouli Oil and your other favourite essential oils to a carrier oil for a relaxing massage.
  • Add a few drops to your shampoo or conditioner. For a aromatic home spa experience, combine Organic Patchouli with a carrier oils and add it to your bath, leaving your skin silky smooth and you smelling beautiful.

Extraction Method

Extracted from the dried then fermented leaves of the plant through the process of steam distillation. It has a distinctive, intense musky, sweet yet spicy aroma. It has a slightly thicker consistency than most essential oils.

Organic Certificate

This Essential Oil is certified organic by the Soil Association which means you can be sure that it has been produced to the highest ethical and environmental standards. The Soil Association’s uses EU organic regulation standards as their baseline, but in many cases their standards are more robust, particularly in animal welfare, GM and the use of pesticides. Standards are constantly reviewed to ensure they are up to date with current issues.
