Organic Cedarwood Atlas (Cedrus atlantica)

Country of origin: Morocco

Weighs 50g - 10ml Sealed Bottle

Our 100% pure Organic Cedarwood Atlas Essential Oil is vegan friendly, not tested on animals, hexane free and certified organic by the Soil Association. We source our Organic Cedarwood Atlas direct from the first women run co-operative in Morocco. The network educates local families and promotes the prevention of deforestation by offering a more sustainable source of income.

It has a calming and grounding aroma and a woody, rich, balsamic and sweet scent. Cedarwood Oil is often used in aromatherapy for its soothing aroma. It is ideal for diffusing as it helps complete aromatherapy blends and brings a grounding, earthy base note.

It also makes an excellent massage oil, particularly suited to more masculine blends. When combined with a carrier oil and other essential oils it makes a calming and strengthening blend.

Organic Cedarwood Atlas Oil can be used in your homemade beauty formulations and applications.

  • Dilute at a percentage of 1% of the finished blend (approx.1ml of essential oil to 100ml of carrier oil). In the bath you can use up to 3% dilution. Do not use undiluted on the skin.
  • For aromatherapy add a few drops to your diffuser or oil burner and enjoy the calming aroma of Organic Cedarwood Atlas.
  • Make your own massage oil blend by adding Cedarwood Atlas and your other favourite essential oils to a carrier oil.
  • Ues it as an ingredient for your homemade beauty formulations and applications or mix a few drops into shampoo, body wash, bath water or cleaning products.

Extraction Method:

Steam distillation of the leaves and twigs of the Cedar tree.
